LOCCA has collaborated with various organizations since 2016. Among them are United We Dream-Houston, HALA: Houston Alliance for Latinx Arts, DiverseWorks, La Unidad Once, TEJAS: Texas Environmental Justice Advocacy Services, the University of Houston’s Center for Mexican American Studies and the Houston Public Library’s Hispanic Archive, HIVE/Exquisite Corpse Houston. Programing has included issues of citizenship and human rights; the history of Mexican-American civil rights movement; registration, voting rights in Houston and throughout Texas of the Hispanic and Latino/a/x populations in Texas and nationwide.
